Traveling with baby to Downtown Disney for the first time this weekend. How this mom prepares for one squirmy kid.
Disney this weekend! Well, actually Downtown Disney to be precise. But it is close enough and Aden won’t know the difference. We are going to try out the new restaurant, T-REX, which we have heard lots of wonderful things about. I’m a closet paleontologist so I’ll pretend that I’m twelve and get in the sandpit with the kids to dig for bones. (Yea, I do know that I don’t look anywhere near 12.)

Aden’s milestones at 10 months old.
Almost one year old! Can temper tantrums come early?
You are doing this thing-when we take something from you or move you when you are not ready and you throw your whole body back as hard as you can while simultaniously whining. You’ve knocked your head a couple of times, but we have been able to catch you most of the time. Note to self, get a baby helmet.

After reading my post about Aden’s favorite toys, a very special friend sent us a set of wooden utensils for Aden to play with. He absolutely loves them! He can’t put them down.

Aden at nine months.
You are standing on your own now for seconds at a time. We just cannot believe it. It is way too soon. How is that possible? It took you two weeks to master crawling and cruising. I can’t even get out of bed that fast.

Aden at eight months old.
Today you are eight months old. Your personality is developing every day. We are at a family get together this weekend and are realizing that you aren’t too crazy about 50 dogs, 100 kids, and all the aunts and uncles in your face. But that is ok, your mother and father aren’t too crazy about that either.
